You wont be able to hear a boost leak that easily especially with the engine running, you can barely hear them when you pressure test the system and thats with the engine off. It would have to be one huge boost leak to be able to hear it over the engine. 3 hoses you can check, the hose thats at the front part of the intake mani that runs to the top of the DV. The inlet hose to the turbo, and the DV connections on the compressor outlet hose. Id check those since they just installed the turbo, and they all had to be removed to install the new one.
