so basically i have been busy trying to keep my car alive. i have many many problems and i got hit about a week ago by a mexican with a suspended license. im not sure if i should just dump the car, or try to take out a loan and make the best of it. if anyone or everyone could give me their input, it would help a lot.

considering i do not know much about cars heres the problem:

i need new cv shaft and control arms (left side front) from looking at the car
i need new transmission mounts.
i need a new C. converter
new windshield
-the damage costs?

the timing belt system was never changed. and im at like 135k miles
As you can tell the kid i bought this car off of did not take care of it. and i figured id have money to get the stuff he told me about fixed. i got it for 3g's which i thought was a steal but i guess i got F'ed over

oooh **** that suck, if you bought it for 3gs it was a steal just sucks that you got hit. Once you start to take care of a vehical you really start to notice all the small things that happen and make you feel like crap. What do you need new windshield for?

i dont know if id get rid of it just yet... getting it for 3g'z really was a deal even with some repairs.
