Default I HAVE SOME PROBLEMS A4 V6 2,8l

So i just had my firts problems with my new car and i discover something , my car is a 1998 A4 Quattro 2.8L V6 and my mass air flow sensor is allmoust gone and i try to find one to buy and after i put the part number on the google i find out that my sensor is for a 1995 car the number is 078133471A and AFH70-08B i have no clue about this can u guys give me some hints ? tks a lot

that's because its the same engine made from 1994 to 2001 so probably the same part, only thing I can think of is the part number changed through the years but still the same part

1995 mafs are totaly diffrent. thats for 95 would be a 12v and have an aluminum housing. Yours should be in plastic

go get one from the dealer. i think mafs are covered up until like 88k miles cuz of emissions.

when my failed it was free.

tks guys the problem was tune-up, i went to some shop and they fix`it but now i have another issue my fuel and my temperature gouges are going crazy ,what that i mean whit that : they are not showing the right values i mean they are jumping from 0 to full at gas and from cold to overheat the otherone what should i do i change the water temp sensor and the problem is still there Help

The fuel gauge is known to get screwy on these cars and behave that way (mine does it too - once I get down to half a tank or so, it'll randomly drop to zero and come back up to the right value). There's a DIY tech fix for this, involving cleaning one of the connectors on the fuel sending unit. As for your coolant gauge doing that, probably the same type thing - a loose or dirty connector at the sender, or a faulty gauge sender. Try cleaning the electrical contacts to the gauge sender, and maybe replacement if that doesn't fix it.

Since you change the temp sensor it might be the gauge itself, or you have bad ground that is causing both gauges to act up. Heres the fuel gauge DIY... https://www.audiforums.com/m_20295/tm.htm

I HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM TODAY I TOOK MY CAR TO DETAIL AND AFTER I GOT`IT I NOTICE THE DAM THING DON`T WANT TO GO IN REVERS ON THE SCREEN I NOTICE THAT IS NOT SELECTING PARK OR REVERSE IT ONLY START FROM NEUTRAL PLEASE IF ANYBODY ENCOUNTER THIS MATTER TELL ME THE SOLUTION
