Where is the n75 valve on a 97 1.8tqm?

 

No body has any idea??? my boost controller goes from the dv to the wategate and it doesn't work.....any one got any ideas?

 

You can find it by following the intake hose toward the turbo. It's pretty easy to spot becuase of the wires going to it.

Check out VWvortex.com to remedy your other problem with the manual boost controller. There is a pretty good write up there on how that has to be installed.

 

worst fears realized....lol......my car doesn't have one. The previous owner took it off.

pm me with a price....also....where exactly does it hook up. Right now, my boost controller is hooked inline from the diverter valve to the wastegate. Is that right?

There is a picture on this forum that shows the N75 and where all the hoses go to. I wasn't too worried with mine. I just pulled each hose and attached them to new N75 one at a time.

One end of the 3 way fitting goes in the intake hose, one end is connected to the vacuum hose on the wastegate, and i can't remember where the last end goes. Should look like this when done



Try to find that picture...I looked but didn't find it.

Ok, I do have one on my car...but one end just plugs into the other end. Both vaccuum lines are the same

sorry about no pic..... but what does that do?

 

sorry about that last post...looked a lot better before I posted it....anyways, what I am saying is that my n75 valve is hooked up where.......one side goes straight into the other. The piece of hose can't be longer than two inches. Can somebody please explain to me how an n75 valve on a stock a4 should hook up???
