Last night it started snowing really hard while I was studying in the library. I went outside to check on my car at like 1:30am, and couldn't resist just getting in and ripping up the empty streets. Quattro is amazing; I can slide and have fun when I want, but it is always there when you need it. The best part (good cause no one got hurt ) of my drive was seeing an undercover cop slide down a street and through an intersection trying to pull someone over, while I powered aroundthe corner.

Question: I have been having one problem though: snow packs into my wheel wells to the point where it prevents the tire from moving freely (you can actually hear the snow and ice rubbing against the tire.) Eventually I had to stop and chip it out... Does anyone have a solution for this? Maybe people have run into this problem before?

 

The snow problem in the well happens with my a4 all the time. It gets kinda annoying.

Lower your car or add some seriously ugly mud flaps. [:'(]

 

There is a suspention part (i think is a control arm) sticking way out into the wheel well of my car. Just thought that was well...weird. Its just about to snow here on Long Island NY and im thinkin im gonna start to get snow get stuck in that same spot....any way....hey maby i can lower my car by tomarro for the snow! I wish.

haha yeah, we were out last night doign some snow driving in a supermarket parking lot, after about an hour cops started rolling in so we bounced, and then another hour later we were driving by and they were still in there and they were doing donuts and **** it wa so tempting to just go in there and slide around with them, but i preffer to keep my distance from the five-o
