I love my '01 Audi S4...
I've owned a few different sports cars in my life. My first car was an Eagle Talon Tsi AWD that I heavilymodified, then I purchased a porsche 911, then I had a 350Z with no mods and traded it in for my Audi S4. I have also test driven several other sports cars like the Evo MR and WRX Sti and I haveto say I wouldn't trade my S4 for any of these others. I mean with the Audi s4, you really get thebest of both worlds. You geta true performance sedan. Luxary when your just going for a cruise, and performance when youfeel the need for speed. I can't say the same about any of the other cars I've owned or test driven. That added to the upgrade potential this car has makes it even that much more desirable and unless you drive or own an Audi, you will never know what I'm talking about. I think I'll be keeping and keep tuning my s4 for a while, even if it is an '01.

Hey man, I bought my a4 1.8t like 3 or 4 months ago and now I'm also looking for an S4. I always loved them cars, luxury and enough power to fix your needs everynow and then. I'm checking one out next week. blue or black...same year...can't hardly wait. Both 2001's around 65k miles...
Sweet, I never drove an A4 but I assure you you wont be dissapointed with the s4. Out of the box, its fast. I've invested less than $3500 in aftermarketand man she's a fu*ken beast! It litteraly feels like a new high performance sportscar. What year S4 are you getting?
There a lot of fun, but not nearly as cheap to maintain then most other cars.
After STG II it's a lot more HP/$$ Same here, I'll keep mine for a while. But it's nice to have the EVO in the garage for track days.
