Hey I have a 1999.5 A4 Quattro 1.8T Tip and the alternator is taking a crap.

Will this alternator work in it?

I don't know specifics on what fits in my car or not. And I get confused what to look for becasue my car is a 99 but has the 2000 chassis. I do know that I have a Bosch 120 amp alternator in it right now, if that helps.

bracket mounts are the question and a 120amp you must be running some big audio system and yes it will work

Ok what about the bracket mounts? I know that 120 amp is fairly big size but I thought that is what came stock in an A4.
