I think im getting screwed how should i handle this...
If you think the car is OK and have had a chance to check it and everything is OK you can do the following . . .sometimes it works.
1st. write down your stereo anti theft code
2nd. Unplug the battery (-) Negative terminal and keep it unplugged for 1 to 3 minutes.
3rd Plug and tighten the battery terminal
4rd Turn your car key where the lights are ON for 3 minutes, but DO NOT cranck the engine (the ecu needs to check the tbp)
If your car had a fake alert, this should take care of it, if the light comes back on [&:] start crying, now you can input your stereo anti-theft code and hear music again.
