i make a lot of power and the manifold was just too thin so it warped and cracked and broke apart

ive seen that car on the track. He cant handle that much. lets start off slow and just give him an RS4 to start off.

I think you need to research this a bit more before you act, otherwise you're going to end up with a pile of crap, and still not have a running car. Trust me, start simple, it makes life MUCH easier. When you rush things, you end up hating life. Take it from me, I went through it for a painful 2 years before I sold the project and cut my loses. [:@]

Okay, for the records:

It's an A6.. it would be used for weekend road-track days, I absolutly abhore drag strips.

I am a fairly balanced driver, I only inquire about the auto/standard thing because of the tiptronic shifting.
AWD or RWD is just because I see a lot of porsche trannies for sale..

 

what engine? and i dont think a porsche tranny will fit

and my personal opinion is that if you're asking questions like "what's faster auto or manual" .... you should in no way be considering any form of racing.....

 

your gonna need, alotta power, alotta money, and way less weight...

oh yea, and ur gonna need to sell your car and buy an s4, if you really want to make enough power to hang with the big boys...
