i have a 2002 1.8t cvt amb engine & the coils have been dying on me! i just got some replaced in december, then again last week & i have to get 1 replaced again this week. my mechanic (jose from eurotech in west la) suggested putting in coils from the TT which are also the same ones from the 2000 a4. what do you think? any advice is greatly appreciated...

 

kinda stupid, but a necessary question

are you replacing them with new ones?

if not, then i'd get some new ones, rather than referbished

i also think there are some for sale somewhere that are a bit stronger
