Im stuck.. Sound system help! - LOC hook up? pics...
Hey guys.. Well Ive been guided so far as hooking up two subs and an amplifier in my B6 A4. I bought a "amp kit" with the 4 gauge battery wire and RCA's, i also bought a Global Sound Inc. Line output converter. Now with this LOC i hae no clue to where the wires connect to. There are five wires coming out of one end and 2 RCA's coming out the other.
I pulled out my headunit today but i have no clue to where these wires connect to.
Does anyone know where the LOC wires connect to on the stock headunit?
The 5 wires are
----solid grey
----grey with black stripe
----solid brown
----brown with black stripe
----solid black

That helps a lot! How exactly should i connect the wires into that? splice them or "T" connect them?
Where does the Black wire go from the LOC?
Is that the remote turn off switch?

Look at the diagram look for one that is switched. if you want add a relay in there just in case the amperage on those wires doesn't provide enough juice for you..
Depends on you, if you splice or use scotch locks.. If I'm not mistaken that usually goes back the blose amp.. if you aren't going to use it, unplug it, and tap into the wires (don't cut them)...
