So I hava a question so what does a 50k mile service or is it 40k service have done? if it is warranty inclusive? And I dont think you should get rid of the car I belive you should keep it if you bought it already they are willing to pay for the fix and pretty much anything else that fails and is not your fault. I bet it took a while to find the right car and now that you did you are very disappointed. I honestly would not take it back but I would fight so they cover the bill and also do another check if everything is okay with the car before you re take possesion just insist on it! if they say no than I would give it back and take the money! Which more likely than they will jump and re check everything just so the sale doesent go out the door. Same thing happened to me as soon as I signed the paperwork the salesman ran off to do another sale and I wasnt treated well at all until I threw a big scene down and riped up the paper than it was all eyes and ears on me again! and after i resigned than they agreed to my terms! Not only one but a few! Such as an extra key that was lost etc they even put on 3m stufffor free, and replaced my broken caution triangle in the trunk! Love the car dont regret it at all! Just because this happened does not mean the next car wont. Any car you buy will have its personality as I like to say. maybe they needed to be replaced and it turned out at that time and now the dealership is replacing it for free. GOOD DEAL! I think!! Since you wont have to do it yourself. It could have happened a month or two from now and you would be stuck with the bill! Anyways good luck and dont judge audi just because this happened! A 50k service is just an oil change.
40k is a pollen filter, spark plugs, oil change, CVT tranny flush (if equipped) scan and erase fault memory using GFF, lube door and hood hinges ect.

 

I bet that one gets skipped often
