OK, so I have good news and bad news. The good news is that InMotion did agree to give me a free tune. The bad news is that the dyno center can't dyno AWD cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![:@][:@][:@]!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![:@][:@][:@]

According to the dyno center, the closest place to dyno an AWD car is in seattle!!!! (Thats a day drive there and a day drive back) Unless your going 100mph. LOL

So I will have to see what I can do. I am waiting for InMotion to call me back about it.

Josh

Customer service is key.... Maybe that says something. Unless, are they there on Mondays?

Ok, I have tried calling them a few times already today and no one answers. How many times did you have to try to call before they answered?

Customer service is key huh? This buisness this guy has here isn't a storefront like calling autozone. He called me back within 5 minutes of me calling him and told me emailing him was the best way to get ahold of him. Untill you have some solid proof of issues or some positive feedback it time to shut the **** up. When I get the chip I will still post datalogging graphs which will show more than enough that his tunes are safe and I may hit a dyno after.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Hey tractioncontrol, where are you at? And are you doing the free tune thing as well? I want to do it to, but I am having trouble finding a dyno center that can do AWD cars. James told me about this thing where you can temp. disable the rear wheels by disconnecting the drive shaft. So i will see how hard that is. I really don't want to drive 5hrs one way just to dyno. Thats 20hrs total of drive time just to dyno my car!!!

No I don't plan on doing the free tune (although I had considered it) I don't want my 110,00 mile car doing 6 dyno runs untill I get new rods/pistons and such, I will get his chip though until I buy standalone for it. I live in Iowa so if my car breaks in chicago at the dyno I would have to pay to fix it or have it towed back 4 hours. Yes you can disconnect the driveshaft usually a dyno shop will do that as part of the dyno fee. It requires removing 4 bolts.

Any pictures of which bolts? I will get up under my car today and look and see if I can find them.

6 chipped runs on a dyno shouldnt hurt your engine. 110k miles is nothing and a k03 chip isnt going to put your rods etc. at risk, even with 210k miles. If that were true many of thepeople with 150k+ milesthat have BT setups on stock internals would be in serious trouble. Id go for it. Do you have serious engine damage right now or something?

Yeah, I definitely agree with this...... ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

That's like saying, "Man, I've walked on these legs for 31 years - I better not run or they're going to snap".
Your car is built to withstand whatever punishment (within reason) that you can do to it.
A few redlines won't hurt as long as you don't leave it redlined.

Yeah I don't think that you would even notice 20% faster. The GIAC one reduces from 1 sec. to .2 sec, thats 80% faster. So I am not so sure the 20% is worth the 200 they are selling it for.

Please quote us correctly. What I said was we reduce the shift speed to 20-25% of it's original value, not reduce the shift speed 20%.

Sorry bro, I didn't miss quote you, that's what was told to me. So it would be like the exact same as getting a GIAC tip chip then, becuase that is about how fast theirs is.
