I searched for help on this reset, i'm convinced I will need a vag-com to reset.
The buttons on dash will reset my trip miles - right side or adjust my clock - left side.
It won't go to a ----display like i've been reading.Also you have to turn key to run pos. otherwise dash lights won't come on to read anything. Car is 1996 A-4. any help , thanks in advance

Thanks for reply, but this did not work, I guess 1996 needs vag-com
