Get some boost going so you have something to blow off. Your only making prolly 148hp with that thing, there is prolly not enough boost for it to make the noise you want it too. keep in mind, i know nothing and i "regurgitate(sp?)" everything i read. I would talk to greenday more for your tuning needs as it sounds like he knows the most about it. Happy tuning.

That should be what you are pushing...unless you're losing some boost here or there. Have you noticed any performance differences? If this is an "upgrade" from the 710A DV then you should definitely notice an increase in throttle percision. Boost for stock 1.8T is roughly 8psi on a B5, but it CAN spike to 10psi. The 710A is rated for ~8psi so you could even find that you're getting a smidge more power in some instances.

If it feels the same or worse, you're probably loosing boost somewhere. I believe AW has a tutorial on finding boost leaks.

im telling ya, the spring or vaccume insert is too stiff for the amount of bost your running, many na turbo kitted cars only run 6-10 psi, and they will blow off just fine, its all in the adjustments/spring rates/vaccume rubber stiffness. but ya, get more boost and it will make a better sound and i think you might like the power too.

you will experience problems with a BOV down the line. the big one being a broken O2 sensor or a plugged cat. things that can be fixed very cheaply
