Installing A/F meter which is signal?

its not debatable bc it needs a 5v signal and a reg a/f needs something else. the guage will just twich sayin it is reading lean as all hell. that is a complete wideband kit from auto meter so u will need to have a new bung welded in. but in ur question will it work ya but id like to know how much it is bc the cheapest one is aem. if its under 225 buy it for sure but this is a well worth item if u really plan on moddin ur car
His year a4 is the same year they started using wide band. So, you never know, its a hit or miss. I've seen it way too many times before with car manufacturers. Hell, some of them change things up in the middle of the production year. Now, had this been an '01+ then for sure it has the wideband.

I'm just tryin' to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Thanks i decided not to install it and returned it. So im just running a boost gauge
