I want to het a few more horses. I was thinking about the set of pulleys and an electric fan kit. Somebody said each of those iwll give me ten. I was thinking this is a little over my head to install (saw the write up about fan on AW) looked hard so i was thinking about giving the stuff to my mechanic to do it. Anyone have any idea how much that would cost?

 

With this mods you won't gain HP, that is my opinion.

 

The electric fan will give you some extra HP, it's arguable as to how much. The viscous clutch on the stock fan is a hog. As for the pulley set, I wouldn't bother unless you're planning on making your car into a track car.

 

Had somebody put the car on dyno before and after installing electric fan to see this extra HP? For pulleys you have to have a lot of HP to change them and gain some more HP.

 

ive heard that u dont want pullies bc the germans ballanced the engine with the stock pullies so when you lighten them your gonna through everything outta wack. if anything lighten the flywheel. deff do the fan. thats my next mod.
