actually the vehicle has to be registered to the named insured..... BUT some less reputable companies will overlook that
Then register it in the dads name. Thats what I do. My insurance company is very far from sh!tty too.

The SHO was in my name on the title, but my dad's insurance. No problems there. The funny thing is that my A4 is $130 LESS than the SHO for my 6 month permium.
