Yeah, but do what you want, its your car/money. Im not saying youre a douche if you have an intake like that. I just want you to be aware of the facts.

I take that back. You might get 1 or 2 extra hpat about 7k rpms. But what you gain in the high end is not worth the amount of low end tq that is lost with an intake on these engines unless youre running a big turbo that has special needs. Im not even going to talk about how much of a proffit carbonio makes on their intakes. I know carbon fiber isnt cheap, and r&d takes time and money, but damn.... $350 for what? A pretty looking air box, a cool sound, and a slight decrease in low end power, where you need it most often. Im all for a K&N pannel filter, its probably the best thing you can do for an already efficient stock air intake system.
I know, I know, supply and demand.
i regretbuying my carbonio but i agree they are smart theyre just like the guy that threw the pet rock on the market btw apr is giving carbonio intakes away with every chip so when i chip ill just sell the intake and try to cut my losses
