Well ill probably end up putting one in it. Just no other option really. Aftermarket sucks. Its probably also the cheapest thing to do. Then getting the airbag code cleared.......
Thanks guy, if it werent for forums like this one, this job would not go so smoothly. Sorry for getting on your *** like that snipe. Im currently ripping the front end apart, looks like im going to disable the headlight washers. They are all busted up and I wont miss them. Found the wiper lever, nothing a little JB Weld wont fix. Tried to download the check engine light, but no codes came up. I didnt run the car but shouldnt have to. Maybe it was just the airbag code and my scangauge wont pick it up.
no problem, i made an assumption you were a kid...my bad.
For the airbag cables. Its supposed to have a plug somewhere, if not under the airbag itself, check under the steering column. Usually the airbags are plug and play. Just find the plug.
If you are kind enough, please take pictures during your process of replacing that parts and the job you do to the car, someday someone will maybe need them
Good luck and keep us informed

Insted of doing all that with the bag inside the steering wheel. Wouldn't it be better to just replace the whole thing?
I have help build a 718 RWD G35. Fully built motor twin turbos...
And a 417RWD 350z. Just turbos and clutch.

The airbag is extremely easy to take off. Just two screws on the back side of the wheel. I tried putting some pics on, but they didnt show up. I clicked upload and it said upload successful, but nothing. What did I do wrong? It was a jpeg.
What a pain

The two bumper mounts are tweaked, should be able to press them back close. I wont be putting a condenser back in so that will give me some extra clearance for the bumper if they dont get pulled out far enough.
A whole bunch of busted up plastic was behind there and tangled in the belts. Guy said he replaced the timing belts 40,000 miles ago, so they should be fine for another 2 years. The one showing with the cover ripped off was slightly loose, is that normal? Do I need to put a cover back on it? I see some cars without them. The car wont be going down any messy roads. I priced the parts, cheapest ive found are on ebay so far, havent gotten a hold of the junkyards that have audis, and im still only looking at about 650 bucks. Not too bad.
