the stock program isn't worth it if youre not under warranty...but you can get different octane programs which is cool...not sure i'd say it's worth the money though....the tip chip takes .8 seconds off each shift (.2 seconds from the stock 1 second)...it's def worth it.

 

Thanks for all the replies bentframe. I see that you're in norcal and so am I. Where did you get your work done at? Also, will I need anything other than the chip, such as filter or DV?

 

you will need to upgrade your DV, for example the 710N ($35USD) or a Bailey or Forge 007 DV ($100-130USD).

 

i have a 2.8 12V so i don't do much tuning at all, but there's www.2bennett.com in davis, they're an awesome tuner in norcal...there's also a good one in san jose but i can't remember the name of it...

 

I actually graduated from Davis a couple years ago but don't remember seeing that place or much else for that matter on Olive. I suppose Davis has changed a lot since then haha. Is the SJ place you're talking about Dynospot?
