Hi guys.

i have a 99 model year A4 2.8 Quattro manual. it came with one key - just a regular key with no remote function at all. which FCC# key should i look for?

OK bought the switchblade key-- opens and locks doors fine -- anyone know about secondary programming for the immobilizer and trunk function?

Wait do you live in Europe or the US? The US didn't have any immobilizers in that year model.

No, in the US. My daughter immobilized the car the other day and I could not get it to do anything--and everytime I tried to disarm the alarm went off again-- all I can think is that my A4 may of been on the cusp of the model year change over and had the new system installed.

nah, there is no way you have an immobilzer. They weren't even incorporated until like 2001 in the US.

so what kind of remote keyless entry should i buy from ebay?
