Key programming--Does anyone know the truth

Hi, Newbie here!
I just purchased a 2006 Audi A4 quattro 2.0 turbo. I only have one key and I've tried everything to program the keyless entry remove. It looks like the only way is to get a second remote?
would this work for my phone? Let me know and I'll check the #'s

Audi Remote Keyless Entry Programming Procedure
You will need two keys and both remotes to (re)program your remotes. Follow the directions below.
Note: the 1996 model year remotes are different and probably won't work the manner below.
Another Note: Give atleast 6 SECONDS before continuing to the next step
1. Put one of the keys in the ingintion and turn it to the starting position
2. Close the door and manually lock the door with the other key
---This is when the car recognizes that you are trying to program a new remote---
3. Take the new remote and press unlock (press this once only!)
4. The door should unlock and you should be good to go!
