I thought there was some weird (obnoxious ) thing on the new A4s that purposely made a noise like that, has to do with the brakes.
Something engaging... I think who ever spoke of it said it was in the owners manual, check there first. Look under brakes maybe. It was just on the forum like 2 weeks ago and i remembered thinking that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard of, making a cra purposely sound broken.... then I thought of all the dang noise my Audi makes and that was the end of that thought.

Can anyone else confirm this? Mine knocks once from underneath, front, when I come to a stop and then again when I push the gas. What else could it be?
