Yesterday when i was driving home this message came on ... said left dip headlight or something... for about a second and the car chimed and then it went back to normal..

What is this? It happened like 3 times

 

Its basically the german word for saying the headlight is out, it happens on B7's a lot for faulty igniters.
Check the wiring connector to the headlights, if they are ok what you should do is find which headlight is the one thats going off and on then swap it to the other side of the car. If the same bulb goes out on the other side of the car its the bulb, if its still on the side that was malfunctioning its the igniter (ballast)thats faulty.
