I ushally lift her up on thev oil pan in the front and the gas tank in the rear those are pretty solid lift points

any spot on the framerail is usually a good bet, strongest point on the car...
thats what all the mechanics do on thier 2 post lifts... they just slide the arms under the car, and since the framerail is usually the lowest point on the car (excluding the tranny and exhause), it just lifts up the whole car, while distributing the weight over all 4 contact points, therefore cutting each of the pressures to 25%
all car's are pretty much the same when it comes to this.
correct me if im wrong... but if you really want some stability, just tie some string around roof, and hoist it up like that. its usually pretty safe under there when you do it that way

Underneeth the plastic the subframe is still in the same spots. You can lift on the plastic if you want. You just have to push on it till you find the solid part of the body. If youve never seen the subframe on the body i wouldnt suggest this as youll wind up cracking the plastic and possibly damaging the floor of the car. When i put my car on the lift i just use the pinch welds on the side. Never had any problems with that.
