Default line output converter help

ok so i tried to intall my amp and subs today to my audi symphony stereo, i tried splicing the rca's into the stock amp. i got the amp to turn on the speakers sound great. but the subs would only turn on for seconds at a time maybe once every 30 seconds, so i bought a line output converter, cause someone told me it would just be easier to hook up and should work. so i bought it but how do i install and it? do i have to unsplice all the wires i just did? or do they stay? i really just wanna get this done.

well, the line out converter connects to the wires from the stereo that connects to the speaker.. and you run that into the amp. and the sub to the amp.

yeah they LOC gets connected to the wires going to the speakers. you can either cut the rears or splice into them and do the connections there. not sure what you did with the other wires
