Default Looking for some upgrades

Hello all, Ive had my 2001 A4 1.8t quattro for about 8 months now all stock so i think its about time i made a few changes.
The first thing im looking at is changing the suspension along with getting new wheels/tires. At the moment i am on non sport stock suspension and was wondering if it would be worthwhile to find some used sport stock suspension or wait a while longer for something better?
Secondly i am tired of the stock wheels so im looking for something different, looking at the ASA AR1's from tire rack ASA AR1
Alittle later down the road before next summer im looking to do exhaust and chip.

If you guys could give me some advice i would appreciate it, thanks.

I wouldn't buy used sport suspension. There are some pretty good deals out there on spring shock combos.

Yeah, leave the stock sport suspensions be. Get some coilovers, or some H&R+Bilsteins.

Only thing is i have a friend who is willing to part with his sport stock suspension for $100. Told me they have about 35k miles on them. Should i pass him up on this offer? Is it that much of a difference or might as well wait for coilovers which i would get around jan - feb

it will only lower your car like 3-5 mm or something like that. and for performance well im not sure,
i would guess its better but how much better?? also on top of that $100 ull need them installed and quite frankley its not worth it.
