Default 12v 2.8 upgrades?

I know there is almost nothing you can do to the single cam 2.8, but I think there is a chip somewhere and a cat back that are available? Is there anyone that owns a 12v 2.8 that has anything they would recommend?

There's a guy named Mance who changed his handle to VAP on AudiWorld in the 2.8 12v discussion section who has something like 300hp on a N/A 12V engine. Google the handle and you will see that he has manufactured parts for that particular engine himself out of OEM Audi parts. I think one of his most known creations is the RXSTB throttle body which he sold for about $350. The parts are rare, as he only made a limited amount so that they would hold their value. There are a lot of knockoff parts, but they say the quality he produces is unmatched.

If I had a 12v 2.8 I'd simply focus on handling and looks

i'd recommend a 30v! haha

Bore and stroke it to 3.0, run a single holset, be the coolest kid on the block.
