i Have 2000 A4 1.8T Tiptronic Quattro, MTM chip, 710n DV, I start with power when it kicks into 2nd gear you here a suction sound(like if you cover a vaccumm cleaner with your hand) the sound goes for like 2 seconds. and at the same time i loose power.... it feels like the car is holding back or real heavy. and if i press down all the way on the pedal it like catches power right away but it jerks also but then the same happens. any suggestions..???

 

Something boost related, maybe a ripped charge pipe, or bad dv?

 

Im with tom, def boost related, maybe a vacuum leak.

 

I am going to change the 710N DV again ...but this time i will get the Forge Brand.

 

This question is redundan when you say you are losing power, your rpms are dropping correct?

 

when i start driving i feel the power....once it goes into the next gear i feel like something is pulling the car back or real heavy......my rpms are still going up but alot slower
