Default lots of questions, need help

whats up, i was driving my audi around today and need some questions answered. btw it has a neuspeed chip and this was my first day really driving it.

when i floor in first gear it the steering wheel jerks from left to right, is this torque steer?

After hard driving i can start feeling heat come next to my legs, coming from the engine, is this normal?

Shouldn't have too much torque steer if it's a Quatrro but if not then yes it would be. The heat you feel may very well be poo running down your legs from goin too fast or possibly if you have your heater set to hot but have the fan turned off, sometimes hot air still comes in. If its climate control, set it to LO before turning it off & if it's a regular heater. Set it so it is on cold. Just a thought (mine does it too)

The torque steer is because of the FWD....do you notice any increase in engine temp?

I have a FWD with a GIAC chip and I can floor my car from a stop without even touching the steering wheel. I get no torque steer whatsoever, but the way you explained it, yes it does sound like that's your problem. I don't know, but if you have a standard transmission, you may have different length halfshafts on that transmission while the automatic has same length. If they are different lenghts, your suspension can twist in a way that creates unequal changes in toe (in/out) which in turn causes the front to wander left/right.
