Have heard of that happening, so he is not alone! Good thing it was somethingeasily corrected.

Ok, Yeah he got it fixed. He wasn't thinking straight and forgot to open the actual oil drain plug and used just the oil filter to drain it. So it didn't drain the whole thing and then he added extra oil on top of it so it was to full. LOL Not the smartest thing. But it's working now. Thanks for the input!

He does know what he is doing. He has changed it on his own 4 or 5 times now and this is the first time he has had a problem.

i put half a quart too uch oil in my K1500 pickup witha 383 stroker and i had the smoke out the exhaust and numerous busted seals. but i also added some timing on my tune so i culd beat my boys at hte track, beatem but had to get towed back from the track
