Default Loud Noise!!!

Ok, so while I'm driving at or above say....30mph...the rear starts to make a VERY loud howling sound. Is it my tires, or is it something else...like something that needs to be oiled? I knowmy description isn't the most helpful, but any ideas would be apreciated

Breaks, Tires, or a Bearring.

Personaly i woudl start with the breaks, but it really depends on how it sounds so it's kinda hard without hearing it.

If it's a rumbling sound, it's probably the wheel bearing. They're known to go bad on these cars. I have one on the right rear that I need to change out. I can hear it on the highway (kind of sounds like a loud tire noise), but when I'm coasting down to a red light in neutral, it's kind of a whump-whump-whump noise that slows as the car slows.

Check your breaks first though (since they're easy to check) and make sure you have good pad thickness and your calipers are secure. If not, it's probably going to be a wheel bearing, given how often people seem to talk about the bearings going bad.
