ok I will call my local vag buddy and run a log.. is it a specific log to run or just the standard pine ?

thanks maybe a set of coilpacks is in need..do they need replacing at only 79K miles? Guess something could go at any time.. best/cheapest place to buy them?

thanks big John

I would get them trough ECS they seem to be the cheepest but run some logs first might only be one bad one, also i would check for leaks if you can (vacume) they always cause nagging little problems.. I wish i only had 79k on my car lol.. they can go bad at any time they suck.. you friend should know whick bocks to run i forgot off hand.. if you were close id help you out more, could swap out MAF's and coil packs.. something are just so hard to figure out with these cars..

I'm trying to find codes I got them at Advanced Auto.I reset them and they came back. The longest it stayed off was about 10-15 miles after I replaced MAF.My problem is on start up the car idles @ 800rpm and thats about where my idle stays. When I unplugged my battery last and started the car It warmed up at about 1100rpm.I think thats where it should be on start up? Also when I'm driving and let off the gas/push in the clutch it goes down to 600rpm and bonces around a bit, then evens out.

I also have a Diagnostic trouble code (dtc) table from a friend at Audi.It says for the corrective action to: CheckO2 sensor behind cat, Check evap emission canister purge regulator valve.P1137 VAG17545 Bank1, Mixture adaption (add.) System to rich. So don't get those coil packs first.I really think its the O2, From all the wright ups I've seen I seems to be the coleprate.* Wheres a good place to get a new O2 sensor?

thanks vw have to look into that..well is the o2 sensors and purge valve covered under the 80K 8 year emissions warrenty? if so then we can just have the dealer replace them... gonna call and find out... wonder with all my mods if they will throw a fit about the warrenty lol

weird though why would it cause my turbo to be spurty and spikey plus run strange?

The Dealer will give you hard time nomatter what unless you give them your visa and kiss there a**.But with the sputtering sounds like vacume leak so check your EVAP I think its on top of your air box.

Don't mind me I keep remebering more crap I'm tired from the week so I guess I'll just keep posting as brain cells kick in.You can also replace your fuel filter its a shot in the dark but its made a big difference in a couple cars I know of.
