I have an 2003 a4 3.0L and tha Malfunction Indicator Lamp came on. From tha book it tells me that it is the OBD II system could be tha problem and their may be a problem inthe engine sytstem or tha exhaust. Has any1 ever experienced this or found out how to fix it besides bringing it to tha dealer. I heard if u disconect tha negative from tha battery it might shut it off.(i have radio codes). if any1 can help plese reply Thanks!!

 

You can go to a local autozone and they'll read the code for you for free. Then you can post the code up here and we can tell you what it possibly means. Yes, you can also do the battery thing, but if it comes back, you're going to have to get the code read regardless because that means there is a problem.
