MAP = manifold absolute pressure
MAF =Mass air flow similar to map but measured different by the ECU generally by heated wire but that's old generation

i know what they all are and where they are, i am thinking audi call the thrust sensor a map, so stupid people like me will know what it is/means, the tech said that it is a thrust sensor but they call it a map

no, i can never understand what avant80@2.6 is saying. The map sensor is best described as a "boost sensor" because it senses boost and reports it to the ecu.

right, that is why my boost has been at 5, he "fixed" it and i am boosting at 10

can i unplug my map and just run on my maf? will it hurt the car?

i just spent almost 500 getting everything tested, and my wheel bering replaced, which i would of done, but burr is it cold and now i need to replace my front brakes

if the exhaust isn't on right you might have a pull to the left which could we are you seats out due to the position of your key board and the screen will be out of focus making driving dangerous
