If you unplug the map youll just go into limp mode or the engine might not even start. Try it out and see what happens, id be interested to know... Youll get a CEL though for sure.

Its simple really im a mechanic so I know the difference between a booster thingy and a MAP/MAF and no a MAP is nothing to do with boost unless you have a different name for it over there lol believe me when I say you dont have both MAF and MAP sensors ( both do the same job ) which is to measure air

the dealership called the thrust sensonr, which looks like it goes in the intercooler piping a map

interesting...a MAP and a MAF do the exact same thing, though the MAP is more accurate, so how or why would there be both in the intake system?

air intake temp sensor[ IAT ] should not be confused with a MAF

edit: when I talk about the intake system where the MAF is located its call a before ignition which measures air to adjust fuel air mix for optimum spark ( turbo is after the spark so should be confused with the intake side of operations ),

single point injection systems use a MAP sensor - multipoint use a MAF sensor in most cases.
sorry guys I dont want this to turn into a mechanics course on how injection systems work so post a picture of the item in question and ill try to explain

well, got a new maf and thrust sensor and i am boosting about 10, so i think all is good
