werd. if you sold your car for 15k (which i don't think would be very difficult), you could buy an s4 for 19k and still have 6k to put into it (ie. a k04 turbo upgrade). that would be pretty sweet.

Yes, I considered getting an S4... I may take that route.

As for "dumping my money into something that's going to depreciate." Who cares? Money comes and goes. I personally like to ENJOY my money, not have it sitting in some bank account. I'm sure this view will change in the years to come, but for now, I'm 18, and I'm going to enjoy my bank while I can... Before I have a laundry list of bills to be concerned with each month.

I've accepted the fact that I will only get about 1/3 of what I put into a car, out of the car... Well, the case of the Type-R is a special case, I lucked up with that car big time.

However, it has come to mind that it may be smart to sell the B6 for around $15,000 or so, and buy an S4, tapping into only a partial amount of my funds, leaving about $5,000 to let sit in the bank.

But we'll see, first I need to decide whether or not I'm going to sell the Type-R.

Well if you do decide to go bt, the ecode kit is the best for the money hands down. But apr has that nice lil Apr stage 3+ kit, with the new software it runs high 12s on pump gas. Just something to think about, the ecode kit wont see those time without 109oct and a good driver.

I'm guessing you are talking about a B5 S4 cuz i don't know where you would find a B6 for 25K so my question is why would he go from a B6 to a B5? Even though it is an S4, i still wouldn't do it.

Well I've got my Twin Turbo machine... I see no point in getting an older car, despite over all performance. As for the APR Stage 3+ kit, I'll never spend $5,200+ on a Turbocharger kit, unless it says "Full-Race" on it.... No way in Hell. I think the ECode will do just fine, I've got more than enough 110octane Race Fuel lying around, and I'm a pretty good driver, so I think it will suffice.
