Mpg question
I have a 2004 a4 Quattro convertible. It has 99k miles. It is gettin 16.5 mpg. My past cars a BMW got 18 another BMW had gotten 20mpg and a miata had gotten 24mpg. Is this low or what I should get for the Audi? How can I get better mpg?
Thanks rick

Depends on the engine to an extent, as well as your driving style but the basics are the same. Check and balance tire pressures properly, lubricate brake sliders to reduce caliper drag, change the air filter, clean the MAF, EGR, and throttle body. Scan for any O2 sensor-related codes and change the primaries if they're failing. Maintain proper fluid levels. Check vacuum and replace worn/cracked/dry-rotted lines.
