So i'm heading to work for the first of three straight 12 hour night shifts and pull into the parking structure. Gotta park underground since i'm staying there overnight. as the gate is opening i start to pull forward and what else happens but the stupid curb and my front driver-side rim meet for a nice bump and grind! lets just say that the curb won and my rim has a nice reminder of it. it was a horrible sound and i have no one to blame but my own stupidity. Funny thing is, i was going to put my stocks on today for my vegas trip this weekend but it was raining all day and no room in the garage so i couldn't do it. just wanted to put my frustrations out there...thanks for reading guys.

If it is any consolation... refinishing a polished lip is cheap.

just dont let your girlfriend drive. My friend let his girl friend drive his car, she fuckign took a huge chunk out of the wheel. I felt so bad for him. And after she fucked up his wheel couple weeks later he let her drive again... bad idea back his audi with a small body kit right into a light post.

Fixing a polished lip yourself is not likely... they have to be turned on a machine. Painted stuff is easier, cause you can build them up with anything, sand them down, and repaint them.
