my window broke
[:@][:@] i was rolling my window down today and i tapped the switch to do the auto-down thing.....and when it got to the bottom, something in the door panel snapped, and the window motor kept going for a couple seconds...i barely got it back up, it feels like something is jamming it now...my first thought is the regulator, one of the arms snapped and now it's jamming the window/motor somehow....any other ideas before i order a new one for a hundred bucks??? any windo issue youll come into is either a regulator or a motor. Always look at it like this:
motor= nothing happening when button is pressed.
regulator= anything else
Yes motors can be bad and still move but usually the regulator is the issue 99% of the time in my experience.
