90$ an hour? man you guys got it good, before i used to work for my dealer i would have had to pay 135$ an hour.

Anywho, the 50$ deductible is a flat rate, no matter how much work they do its only going to be 50. but yes its still crap and shouldnt be there.

Well the total was; $275 for battery, $90 for oil change, and glove box was covered under warranty but I still had to pay $50 for labor.
Total was: $415+tax and I get my car back in couple of days. Did I just get raped with the whole battery thing or is it true?
,[:@] sodding dealers dirty ripoff merchants, when you change the battery the ground wire has to come off first then the + and on refitting the + is first and - is last this resets the airbags and after a drive the ECU will recalibrate by its self

I have a replacement battery in my A4. It's a NEverStart. If that helps, its better than spending $275 when you can get it for like $50 without labor.

Its like when i brought my parent's Volvo in for a bulb replacement (warranty) and the guy tells me the brake pads are really bad i should change them. NOT! I swear a year later the same pads are on there not one squeek, and next month the volvo lease is up.
Kiss my A$$ . Its a buisness these guys run and they'll get you for anything most of the time.[:@]

that's why i call them stealerships. they rape you on bs like this as well as parts cost. almost every audi dealer charges full retail pricing for parts. also some service advisors get paid commision & make more than the dam salesman..... a genuine audi part that you can buy online for say $15.00, a dealer will charge you almost double.
dealers nowadays don't make anything on the brand new car they just sold you, but they make their money through the service dept. they prey on unknowing people who have no idea of actual parts costs, as well as repairs that are not needed or over blown to scare the customer. especially women.

the other way they get you is, say you are a good mechanic & do all your own wrenching. so you do all your own oil changes. all of a sudden you spin a bearing @ 25k miles. now this should be under warranty right ? nope, they will say they have no record of you doing any oil changes with them & say you are @ fault for doing them yourself........

so if you make a lot of money or are too busy to work on your own car, or just don't know how to. the stealership is always there to take your $...........
