Default Need advice

I love almost everything about my B7 2.0T. If you have read my previous posts, you know the things I want to do to it though to make it ever better. One of the things I want to do is increase the amount of bass I hear from my stock h/u. I have decided to go with a mono amp and some breed of sub. I was looking at an Alpine MRD-605M amp and an Alpine SWR-1242 or 1042. I don't need Earth shaking bass, but I want to feel it. The real thing for me is I like tight accurate bass. I would love to get 3 W7s, but the price is just too much people! Sooo, I was wondering if any of you think this setup will be adequate? What has everyone else done? Oh yeah, just in case you ask, I have the symphony not the bose h/u.

A little bit of everything but I listen to rock and rap predominantly. Usually like 4 CDs of rock, 1 of rap, and 1 falling under some other genre in the changer.

DUDE!, the W7's are a BEAST and DO create EARTHSHATTERING BASS. First thig you have to consider is if the system is amped to begin with . my 99 A4 has amped rears which cause tons of probs when you put in a new head. the old ones are designed specifically for your setup. most likely you'll have to rewire almost all of the car ust to get that bi+ch runnin properly. W3's will create PLENTY of bass with a nice range.
10's = punchy/ responsive bass
12's = wider range, but not as responsive
15's+ = the bigger, the deeper.
I highly doubt you'll need anything more for rock or rap unless you want a ghettobeater, then get the W7 and 3000 watt amp, cuz those puppies can handle the power
