Need to replace turbo

If you're gonna do the timing belt, do it at the same time as the turbo. Taking everything apart for the timing belt leaves a lot more room to work with the turbo which makes the turbo install easier. But, if you have problems afterward it will be harder to determine what did it...the turbo install or the timing belt install.

Not trying to jack the thread, but, will a k04 work with the giac software for my k03?

Nope, it will run fine. Just wont have near the potential ko4 software will. But it will fill ALOT stronger then the ko3. Prolly a solid 220+ hp.
