Well stuff is starting to get serious I've been talking it over with my parents and my mom is reluctant but my dad understands completly. He should be having a mechanic look it over as well as an insuing report if it passed or not. In the mean time I wanted to checkand make sure that the service records he claims are accurate. Oh yea he just replaced the KO4 at 125k, headgasket at 110, and then all belts and stuf at the same time. So I was wondering if someone could check out this VIN WAUCB88D2VA203662 and tell me how it looks or send me a link. I'm sorry if this is against forum rules but it was allowed at dsmtalk.com and I havent seen any rules that say other wise. Thanks in advance

Why not try to arrange for someone on AF here to go check it out for you? That way at least you'd have a knowledgeable person drive it and give you an unbiased opinion on the car - what's good, what's bad, what needs attention, and what (if anything) in the ad is BS.

 

+1 ^^ if you not sure about the car, think what can go wrong and how much it may cost, also include how much this car has already installed, see if it worth buying with some possible problems. I dont think price is too much considering how much all mods cost and time to install it.

 

Seriously, it's in the LA Craigslist pages - there's gotta be a bunch of AF guys there. If I were local to LA, I'd be happy to check it out, test it out, crawl around and under it to see if you'd be taking a sensible risk or not. Anyone from LA wanna help hook a brother up?

 

^^ Agreed that sounds like a great plan. If any one wants to check this car out I would be more than willing to pay them. So if you live around LA please check it out, but if you buy I will be very very very angry.
