We just had the clutch replaced in my girlfriends car (exact same as yours). $185 for an OEM LUK clutch kit on eBay and another $575 to have it installed at an independent Audi shop. It is a little touchy now that it is new but it is fixed.

Depends what your going to do in the future. Chaos did a good job of breaking down the performance clutchs for you. If you go Ko4, id suggest what i have, awe stage 2 kit, which is basically a south bend stage 2, just in an awe box lol. Its great, not much of a difference in engagement, but no need to go with something you dont need.

I just had the ecs stage 1 clutch installed on my 2000 1.8t and it's great. The engagement is a little lower then stock which I like and it grabs instant and hard. I think it's rated up to 350hp or something so it could handle up to a gt28r safely.
