some guy i was talking to today said that before i put my car on 20psi(with the chip im getting)....i will need to get a new/performance clutch kit, cuz the stock one wont hold up...

is this true? if so, what brand should i go with that is good quality and affordable? oh and how hard is it to put a new clutch in my quattro?

 

stock clutch is fine. only if you go BT will you need a new clutch

 

a K04 will be pushing the limits of the stock clutch too, and the PC-16 file will probably burn it up pretty quickly.

how many miles have you put on your car since you went K04 brian? how's your clutch holding up?

clutch is officially toast right now. but that is only due to me letting my friend drive my car while i was drunk. he brought it back and my clutch was literally smoking. clutch started slipping after that and has been for the last year and finally jus crapped out on me last night

The stock a4 clutch is 240mm and those can do justunder 300ftlbs stock. A ko4 still wouldnt make higher than 265ft lbs
