new tires, very loud!?

I have some 420 compound tires with an all season tread on right now and they are siginificantly louder than the stock ones I had.

Likewise, I went from some Michelins that were super quiet to some low-profile Kumho Ecstas.. maybe it's just the lower profile?[>:]
