I would suggest checking out http://www. g-popshop.com you can either get a new k03 or a k03 changed into a k04 spec turbo - the K04 will run you around $600 for the turbo and install kit - plus you will need software from GIAC ($600) if you have a b5 or APR if you have a b6. K04 is the most reliable daily driver upgrade you can get - people say the larger BT setups are just as good but its your call. BT your looking at 3-5k. I say if your going to spend the $$ anyway spend a little bit more and get the K04

PS whenever you post a question like this or anything to do with you car - put year, model, engine, or anything else that will assist us in helping you

I am going to get a k04 but what is the difference between a k04 and a k04-015? is it just more power?

or are they the same ?

IM not to sure about that. I'm pretty sure that you some amount of back pressure to completly spool the turbo
well yes, of course. let me clarify my statement. I was referring to the old-school train of thought that states that too free-flowing an exhaust system will not create enough backpressure to spool a turbo properly. this is false, and has been proven many times.

hey scotts custom, the ko4-015 has a little more power to it and sounds a little better when spooling up. Im not sure if the 015 or 015s is ported and the blades are trimmed.....either way they sound bad ***!

atpturbo.com
awe-tuning.com

I would recommend getting a chip than just the occasional flash, for b5's GIAC is a very good chip
