About a $35 part and pretty simple to instal yourself.
You know I had always read that it was $35 too, and when i went to my local Barrier Audi dealer it was like 50. I was pretty ticked...but then i paid like a sucker.
Audi dealer is gunna be more expensive for anything you need... I wouldnt get anything from there unless its the only place I can get what i need. They told me $80 for the DV.. I said "are you joking" and hung up.

You are lucky enough to have a 2000, which is prolly the best year for a ko4. You could get the Awe k04 kit,j31 software,tip chip,fmic,injectors, and have a sweet lil ride.
